That is interesting since a co-worker of mine has the same setup (2 monitors plugged into a docking station going to his laptop) and he says all three monitors are affected when he enables Nigh Light mode.

You are welcome. Definitely can be an isolation project saved for a rainy day, but hopefully f.lux solves the immediate needs for now. Good luck!

Thank you. I checked real quick with him and we both have dedicated NVIDIA graphics cards. He is solely using DP ports to his dock and I have one using HDMI and one is using DP, but like you said it could be due to compatibility with drivers, firmware, etc. I'll go ahead & try using f.lux instead.

The complexity here is it really depends, the ports you are using, compatbility, and integrated GPU vs. dedicated GPU. Also not all docking stations are created equally. It is a pretty challenging issue and not all end up working at the end due to hardware limitation. This is why I suggest the f.lux route as it is free and it works.

    Hello Craig, thi sis Emily.

These external monitors' nighlight settings is not really controled via Windows' nightlight, but some can be done on the monitor's local menu.

Otherwise you can use third party app like f.lux as a workaround. https://justgetflux.com/
