Why isn't there a ethernet option in my network and internet settings?
When I first got my pc I used ethernet all the time till one day I got on my pc and it just didn't work. I went to my internet settings and the option for it was gone. I feel like I've tried a lot of things and options over the months of it not working. I even went as far as going into my bios and turning on my Lan and still nothing. Can someone please help me?

specify the exact model of your computer, PC Desktop or laptop?
Go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, post the screenshot.

2023-06-10T08:39:54+00:00 Go to Device Manager>Other Devices, try to update that PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller which has a yellow triangle.
If the problem persists, contact your PC manufacturer's Technical Support or download and install the latest driver available for the model of your ethernet network adapter installed on your PC.

2023-06-07T09:30:25+00:00 Hi,
in fact, there is no ethernet network adapter in the Device Manager.
Right click on the network adapters node then select, Scan for hardware changes, check if the network adapter reappears in the list. If the adapter does not appear, click on View>Show hidden devices at the top of the toolbar, see if the network adapter is there. If yes, uninstall it and then restart your PC, Windows will automatically reinstall the appropriate driver for your network adapter.
