To turn on virus and threat protection on Windows 11, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Start button and select Settings.
2. Click on Update & Security.
3. Select Windows Security from the left-hand menu.
4. Click on Virus & threat protection.
5. Click on Manage settings.
6. Toggle the switch for Real-time protection to On.

Once you have completed these steps, Windows 11 will automatically scan your device for viruses and other threats in real-time.

Download the zip file linked below.

Extract RemoveDefenderPolicies.reg

Double click the file and allow it to merge with the registry.

Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.

If that doesn't work, upload and share logs from Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST).

Run FRST and press Scan. Two logs are created in the folder that FRST is run from, FRST.txt and Addition.txt.

Zip the logs and share on OneDrive, Google Drive or any file sharing service, then post the share link.

\* Note:If you are downloading FRST with Edge, smartscreen will initially block it.

Click on the 3 dots next to the warning and select Keep -> Show more -> Keep anyway.

Hi Tuan Mac,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The process in Windows 11 should be the same as previous versions of Windows.

Open the Settings App, then go to Privacy & Security - Windows Security - Virus and Threat Protection

If you cannot enable it form there, what error are you seeing, please provide gull details and a screenshot.
