"N" editions of Windows are offered for sale only in the European Union. To comply with an EU court ruling, "N" editions do not include Windows Media Player and certain other media features.

If you have a copy of Windows Education, it will continue to function after you graduate, but it will eventually lose its activation. In addition, you may have difficulty accessing any data of yours that is stored on your school's network, and may lose access to apps that are owned by your school.

For the best, problem-free experience, if you are keeping your school computer, do this:

1- Before you graduate, make sure you have a copy of any data of yours that is stored on your school's network; and

2- do a clean install of Windows 10 and all your software.

You may run into a problem with the second step, because Microsoft stopped selling Windows 10 to retail customers starting on February 1, 2023.

Hi, and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, technically it differs due to N which means no media.

Windows 11 Education N means the PC is limited and cannot use any media on the PC, while in Windows 11 Education, the system admin can set permission to allow media such as Microsoft Store and download apps from there or any media related.
