Corrupted Files Fix

Recently an issue arose with a large number of video files that I NEED for work.

The files were accidentally deleted and then recovered via Wondershare Recoverit.

The files have returned to my PC hard drive but are now stated as corrupted when trying to open.

Is there any possible way to recover? This is over 2 years of multiple team efforts.

    I am sorry, we are not allowed to recommend paid for software on this forum, you can try something like FormatFactory to try to convert those MP4 files to another mp4 file to see if that would fix the file

    No there is no support for file recovery in Windows, 3rd party utilities are your best and only option.

    System restoring to an earlier date will not work, that only restores system files and the registry, not personal files

    If you use OneDrive or some other cloud service, have you checked f those files are available online?

    Hi.

    As your files were OK until them deleted , i guess the problem is with the Wondershare Recoverit.

    Try these :

    1. Microsoft'sutility
    2. If Microsoft's dont work try other utilitiesof this category.
    3. The easiest ways to took your files back are :

    -From a cloud file backup

    -From an image backup (Windows or partition or disk)

    -From a file back up at an another partition at your main disk or at an external device.

    All of the above, however, presuppose that you have created such a backup.

    Otherwise, the only chance of recovery is recovery with an application like the one you used.

    Anyway you should always create:

    1. Restore points
    2. Image backups
    3. Files backup at cloud and/or at a storage device.

    Please inform me if any of these works.

    For the utility tool you provided I have downloaded it but I do not understand completely how to actually recover the files.

    I have the application open but am a bit lost

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    This is the problem with recovery software that claims to be able to restore deleted files, many times the files that are recovered are corrupt, and if they are, I am sorry there is no way to repair those recovered files
