Thank you for the reply. I tried all these. All other my phones and laptops are automatically connected to the new network. Only one of my laptop is having this issue. I tried directly connecting with ethernet cable but it says limited and identifying hut internet is not available. I tried resetting ip adress, resetting ethernet and wifi cia control panel as well. All drivers are upto date. When i troubleshoor, i got following error-“ethernet doensot have valid ip configuration@. I tried resetting ip address. For some reason my default gerway and dns server have letters instead of numbers when i tried to manually update the ip and dns configuration via adapter setting(ipv4) I tried ipv6 where it allwoed me to enter the letters but it says i have incorrect dns server. I checked and dns server is correct. I ised data from command prompt, ipconfig/all.

Startup with simple Steps. Like inspecting connection cables

and - Restart the laptop at least **twice**. it may work after,.?

Step 1 : Unplug the modem and router from the power outlet.

Step 2 : Wait at least 15 seconds. Step 3 : Plug the modem back into

the power outlet first, wait 1-2 minutes, then it's time to power on the router.

Step 4 : Wait for all panel lights on your, cable modem to become

green on before testing your internet connection.

How do I connect to my new Wi-Fi router

Configure your router1. Using your web browser, enter the router's default IP address

into the address bar, then press Enter. ...

    1. The router's sign-in page will appear. ...
    2. Your router's settings page will appear. ...
    3. Locate and select the Network Password setting, and
                 choose an Encryption option. ...

    4. Enter your desired password.
         ==============================

Why won't my computer **recognize** my new router

    (1) Turn off and on Wi-Fi / Airport. (2) Reinstall or update driver of the wireless adapter.

                 1) If you see the message. No connections are available,

it is usually because the wireless function is disabled or blocked somehow.

                  2) click Troubleshoot and windows, might be able to **fix** the problem by itself

Why are my new *modem and router* not working

Examine all of your cables and make sure nothing is loose or damaged. Also, test your

coax outlets to make sure, you are getting an Internet signal. Reboot / Restart your router

and modem. Sometimes your cable modem and router, need a reboot/restart

if None of the above, preliminary actions worked
