If you don't do anything else while a download is active, sure. But otherwise I cannot even open a website any more until download is finished which I personally find annoying
Limit bandwidth in Delivery Optimization
Hello,
I tried using Delivery Optimization Advanced Settings but could not see any effect on the download rate of Xbox Install queue.
For example If I set if to
[x] Absolute Bandwidth
[x] Limit background: 1 Mbps
[x] Limit foreground: 1 Mbps
It corresponds to about 4 MB/s during download
How does Microsoft interpret the units "Mbps" and "MB/s"?
Or to put it in other words. What value do I have to enter for the Limit, if I want to download with only 1 MB/s, meaning 1 million byte per second?

1MB=8Mbit. 1 Byte = 8 bit. So its 1/8. Enter 8Mbps.

2023-06-27T11:17:15+00:00 I compared with XBox Installation Queue and with Task Manager- Process - Network column of "Service Host: Network Service".
After coming back about 2 hours later I could see that download rate now ideed got limited to 1 MBit/s (it now is around 0 to 250 kbyte / s all the time), so it seems setting the option in "Delivery Optimization" needs a computer reboot or a wait time of at least 1 hours to be updated.
This change should be made available immediately because now I am stuck at the 1MBi/s that I used for testing for the next two hours ;)

2023-06-27T09:41:43+00:00 Thanks, that's what i also throught.
But why do I get 4 MB/s download rate when I enter 1 Mbit/s as limit? I should only get 128 kbyte/s with this limit, shouldn't I?
I guess it has accidentally be implemented the wrong way around, but I cannot test it because I cannot enter values lower then 1.
