Same issue here. I unplug and plug the dock back in to fix it. Pain in the *ss. Everything is updated and I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Intel drivers.
When I wake from sleep, the resolution on my monitor has changed from 4k to 1080p HD
About once a week, I'll wake my pc from sleep and find the resolution locked at 1080p. Sometimes I can change the resolution back to 4k from the display settings, most of the times i cannot. It's usually easier to just reboot the PC. My graphics driver is up to date as is windows.

2023-06-10T01:21:56+00:00 I ran through all the options in the links posted and all my settings were correct and nothing came up in diagnostics.
I do not think this has resolved this issue in any way.
I think this is an issue with Windows that needs to be resolved, not with my configuration. -

Can you explain why you and THOUSANDS of others are?
Why would you work and provide tech support for zero pay for one of the most profitable companies in the history of mankind???
The more people who clamour to work for free, the more corporations will take advantage of us.

Bummer that most of the advice you get is to fiddle with settings that aren't your issue or reinstall drivers. Which isn't the issue either.
