    This update is for your computer's audio device driver.

    Probably Windows Update identified a newer version than the current one and that's why you received the update to be installed.

    Hi Paloma,

    I'm unable to a Windows 11 recommended update, despite repeated 'Retries', Realtek Semiconductor Corp. Extension 6.0.9556.1

    is that a serious issue or can I simply ignore it.

    first install the driver update in "Advanced options".

    then it will be installed
