I’ve had my laptop for about 4 years and for the past couple months it has been saying it can’t connect to my wifi, yet my phone has no trouble connecting. i’ve tried unplugging my router and this seems to work but it only works for a few days then it’s back to saying it can’t connect. how do i fix this?

    Hi,

try to reset network connections: Open PowerShell or CMD and run as administrator, copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh advfirewall reset
    ipconfig /flushdns

Restart the computer at the end of all commands.

If that doesn't work, try deleting all WiFi network profiles:Start>Settings>Network and Internet>Wi-Fi>Manage known networks, select all network profiles and click Cancel or Forget.

Then reconnect by re-entering the WiFi password correctly.

Have you used that laptop makers update tool for both driver & bios updates?

And in win 11 update settings set auto update to critical updates ONLY and not 'other updates'

Run the troubleshooter and report the Windows message here or post the screenshot.

Specify the exact model of the WiFi adapter.
