I have a question is using control alt delete to shut down your PC have any side effects, Or does it work just like a regular shutdown? My friend was having problems with his PC, and I thought that might be it. If you shut your PC down improperly enough, it will cause issues but come to think of it; I don't know if that will cause a problem or not, so I wanted to ask.

Rest assured, pressing Ctrl + At + Del to get the shut down command will not cause harm to a PC.
It is only repeatedly performing a hard shut down by pressing the power button on the case of the PC for 10 seconds or removing the power cable that may corrupt Windows or the hard drive.
