MY laptop cannot access internet.

I’d like to install all the drivers required on manually,

When connected into internet, I ‘GUESS’ windows 10 automatically search optimal drivers and install all of them, but mine is offline, so..

Or sometimes, people says, sometimes even windows’ driver from manufacture’s also kinda old, so they say installing them in manufacture’s site is recommended.

So I download all recommended drivers from motherboard manufacture, and also third party devices I plugged-in.

Though, there are still lots of drivers, like

Lan driver, sound drivers,

Like for examples,. Lan driver? Is its manufacture is realtek so I gotta install driver from realtek’s?

Lots of advisors suggest me to download 3dpnet or iObit driver booster or sni driver, etc,, automatically search and install drivers required on offline.

But I cannot sure their reliability

Is there any driver I didn’t mention yet which have to be installed?

And how can I know drivers required not installed?

I want optimal status and optimal performances.

    Hi 1614,

    I'm Amr, an independent advisor.

You can download all the drivers you need from your manufacturer's site, download the latest update only for each driver and install them. that's it.

You don't need 3rd party softwares, and it is not advisable to install drivers using them.

I hope this is helpful. If you require any additional assistance, don't hesitate to respond to this.

    Glad for your kindly answer.

    I have lenovo laptop .

Lenovo site's software seems meaningless (has only diagnosis tool or remote access tool) and even after install them, I still have no driver of pci controller and usb 2.0-crw, assuming their driver's on motherboard site.

Was the manufacture's site meaning its motherboard's, not laptop site?

Thank you for your reply, I understand your concerns

    Regarding your questions

Most modern operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and even Linux come with a large set of generic drivers that can work with a wide range of hardware devices out of the box.

These include drivers for webcams, USB ports, keyboards, mice, and many other types of hardware.

These drivers are designed to comply with standard protocols, meaning they can work with many devices without needing any additional software.

However, some devices may come with their own specific drivers.

These are usually provided by the device manufacturer and may offer additional features or better performance compared to the generic drivers.

For instance gaming mouse might come with a specific driver that enables programmable buttons, custom lighting etc.

In many cases, the operating system will automatically download and install these specific drivers when you connect the device.

But sometimes you might need to manually download and install the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

So, to summarize the manufacturer's site has all the driver you need, and there is no need for 3rd party softwares

    I hope this makes sense

    Best Regard

    Amr
