How to measure Swap usage on Windows

Hello,

I have some questions regarding Windows:

How can I determine the utilization rate of the swap space?

I was able to obtain information about the utilization rate of the physical memory (RAM).

Similarly, I obtained information about the utilization rate of the virtual memory (the utilization rate in relation to the combined capacity of the physical memory (RAM) and the swap space).

However, I couldn't find any information on how to measure the utilization rate specifically for the swap space.

Is it not possible to retrieve the utilization rate of the swap space from Windows?

I appreciate your assistance in providing clarification on these matters.

    Hi ShLL,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

I am not sure what method you are using, but if you open the Resource Monitor utility, then click the green + icon and from the drop down menu select Paging File - Usage, that is really the only method, but it is reported as a percentage f the size of the page file.

    Dear Dave,

Thank you for your response. I was able to view the utilization of the Paging File using the method you provided - I really appreciate it.

I am responsible for monitoring the resources of our servers and I need to retrieve this information from the target Windows server as part of this task.

Could you please tell me if there are ways to obtain this data, such as performance counters or event logs, in text format?

    Best regards,
