In safe mode windows defender is not available (on windows 10).

I did several offline scan and it continues to be detected.

    Hi kiyayi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I'm sorry to hear that you have a virus problem on your Windows 11. According to Microsoft Security Intelligence, Virus:Win32/Grenam.VA!MSR is a program that spreads by attaching its code to other files on your PC or network. Some of the infected programs might no longer run correctly.

Virus:Win32/Grenam.VA!MSR threat description - Microsoft Security Intelligence

Microsoft recommends using Microsoft Defender Antivirus or Microsoft Safety Scanner to detect and remove this threat. You should also run a full scan to find any other hidden malware.

Disclaimer: Running Microsoft Safety Scanner can help you check if the system is disturbed or malicious software exists. To avoid any trouble for you, please follow them step-by step and back up all your personal files first to ensure you do not lose data.

Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your computer and enter Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, only essential system processes are loaded, which can help prevent the virus from running. Once in Safe Mode, run a full scan with Windows Defender. Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely
