I moved a lot of files in File Explorer, and some of them replaced existing files. I want to know if it's possible to undo it(unlike Windows 10, there is no Ctrl + Z in Windows 11)

Right click on the desktop or on a File Explorer window, then click on "Undo move".

Windows 11 has undo (Ctrl-Z) just like Windows 10. However, the undo will only undo the move. It will not undo the overwrite (replacement) of an existing file.

System Restore will only help for restoring operating system (i.e. Windows) files. It will not help for recovering user files.

If you're using an NTFS volume (e.g. drive C) and File History is enabled, then there's a chance of a backup existing as a "shadow copy". Try Previous Files Recovery or Shadow Explorer to check for shadow copies.

Hi, Shaked_O. I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

You can try to use System Restore to restore your computer to a previous point.

1-Restart your computer while holding the SHIFT button

2-The Advanced Startup menu will open on the boot.

    3-Go to Troubleshoot.

4-Now, go to Advanced Options > System restore

5-Select a restore point and click on next to restore
