    Thanks for the clarification.

According to your PC's specifications, it has a "Headphone/microphone port" on the front panel. This port is for devices with a P3 plug.

So if you plug in the headset on the front panel, you should be able to use the microphone and headphones simultaneously.

However, you will need to specify in the Audio Manager that comes with the driver that you have connected a headset.

Usually, the Audio Manager is hidden in the system tray next to the clock. On HP devices, it may be named "HP Audio".

Open the Audio Manager and look for your PC's connector settings. With the headset connected, click on the front panel connector and specify that you have a headset connected.

In your case, it is only relevant to know the headset jack. The mic jack is irrelevant as it plugs right into the headset.

From what you said, I believe the plug is P3.

Which website did you download the driver from?

Provide the link to the website where you downloaded the driver.

Also, let me know if you are connecting the headset to your PC's back or front panel.

Sorry for so many questions. I need to know this information, or I might end up suggesting an unnecessary procedure that will not help you.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

When reinstalling the driver, did you use an installer, or did you let Windows install the driver automatically?

Does your headset have 2 jack connectors P2 (two black or white lines) or a single jack connector P3 (three black or white lines)?

Are you plugging it into the back or front panel?
