I want to be able to see all apps in a list when I FIRST open the start menu ins Windows 11 like I did in WIndows 10. However, I see no instruction for that. Is it possible? IF the community does not know, how so I contact a PERSON in Support; every time I click on "contact support" I get a message saying

Bad Request

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.

    Hi Susan,

I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

No, there is no built-in way to view all apps in the start menu with one click in Windows 11.

However, you can customize the Start layout to display more pins. Just go to Settings > Personalization > Start and choose "More pins" under Layout.

To access your installed apps quickly, you can pin them to the Start menu.

    > Click Windows key to open Start menu.

    > Click "All apps" from top right corner.

    > Right-click on an installed app and select "Pin to Start" to add it to the Pinned apps section.

As for contacting support, it seems like you encountered an HTTP Error 400 message when trying to reach them. This issue might be related to your browser's cookies or cache.

One alternative way to contact Microsoft support is by using Get Help app.

    > Press Windows + S key to open Search.

    > Type "Get Help" and click Open.

    > Type a keyword and press Enter.

    > Then click "Contact Support".

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,

    John J.D.

That's better than the extra click now that I have unpinned several apps that I did not need but I still like the old way better.

Now I have another question: My university has just notified me that they are discontinuing retiree e-mail accounts. I need a new account to use to connect with the contacts I am currently using with that account.

I have a Yahoo account but want a separate one for these contacts and Yahoo will not let me stay logged in with 2 addresses at once. I tried setting up a Gmail account but cannot get it to work right and Google has no support that I can find.

Another option suggested to me was Outlook and I know I have friends who have an e-mail address that ends with outlook.com but I cannot find a way to set up an outlook e-mail address. I see these instructions:

    • Go to account.microsoft.com, select Sign in, and then choose Create one!
    • If you'd rather create a new email address, choose Get a new email address, choose Next, and then follow the instructions.

However, when I get to sign in, I see no option for creating an account. I see that new accounts cannot be set up after November but shouldn't I be able to set up one now? All I can find is info on how to "add" an e-mail address to outlook but I don't need to do that.

    Can you help?  Thanks.

    You're welcome, Susan!

Regarding your new email account, you can create a Microsoft account, which will give you an Outlook email address. To do this, follow the step-by-step guide provided by Microsoft in this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil... This guide will walk you through the process of setting up your new account.

    Best regards,

    John J.D.
