Universal Device Client Device Not Working Properly
Following the latest Windows 11 update, my Universal Device Client Device isn't working properly - Windows can't load the driver required (Code 31). I checked and the best driver is already installed. Should I roll-back to the previously installed driver or wait for Windows to correct the problem in a subsequent update?

2023-08-17T03:59:23+00:00 I fixed the issue.
Here are the detailed steps:
Step 1) browse to the following in Control Panel:
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and PrintersValidate that you see an error with your Lenovo. You can go through the wizard to figure out what Windows is able to find in terms of the issue. Don't apply any fix through the Windows Troubleshooter without getting proper from a trusted source.
Step 2) Open Control Panel and Search for "Device Manager" and Click it.
Step 3) You will see multiple components with Arrows, expand each component to find any drivers that may show an error / warning sign.
* I found mine under System Devices > Universal Device Client Device
* I right-clicked it and selected properties
* I then went to the "Driver" tab
* I selected "Roll Back Driver"
* Accepted the prompt
* Driver should no longer show any errors or warnings

2023-06-24T21:54:36+00:00 Hi, Leah -
When I received the Code 31 advisory, I clicked on it and one of the options offered was to roll-back to the previously installed driver. I chose that option and the problem was eliminated. Hope this helps you too!

2023-06-24T17:05:03+00:00 I'm having the same issue but couldn't find any driver support for this issue on Lenovo's support page. I also tried disabling and enabling, which didn't work. What should I try next?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Please provide more information on this, do you have a Lenovo PC and is that the Universal Device Client you are referring to?
If it is, the best option is to go to the support page for your PC on the Lenovo website to download and re-install that software and drivers from there.
If that is not what you are referring to, please provide some more information on this.
