Canon Selphy CP1300 printer with Windows 11. Worked great with Windows 10, but Windows 11 doesn't even know the printer is connected. Are there new drivers for Windows 11?

I'd like to use my Canon Selphy CP1300 printer with my Windows 11 computer. The Selphy worked well with Windows 10, but Windows 11 doesn't even know it's connected. There must be new drivers for Windows 11? I've tried the Canon site, but found nothing. I have tried direct USB cable (printer-to-computer) and WiFi. Hate to lose such a great little photo printer over a missing driver.

If there is a new driver for this printer I'd need VERY SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS ON DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING IT. Thanks,

BobGellert

I got it working by installing the win10 driver using USB cable first. Then can add the wireless CP1300.

I have removed everything printer related from my windows 11 laptop. Win 10 software install hangs at 50% install and never moves.

I just installed the CP1300 driver (which I downloaded from Cannon) on my Windows 11. It works flawlessly. Even tho Canon say it shouldn't work. try deleting the drivers and reinstall.

    Hi Bob,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

There is no updated drivers for that printer, Canon only support that printer up to Windows 10, you should try uninstalling the printer and associated software, restart your PC, then download and install the latest Windows 10 drivers that Canon provide for your printer, that should also be compatible with Windows 11.
