Can you Manually Run .NET Runtime Optimization Service?

Installed July 22H2 Windows 11 Updates today. and accidentally ended the .NET Runtime Optimization Service manually: took up CPU usage after restart.

I want to know if there is a way to start the .NET Runtime Optimization Service manually (mscorsvw.exe) so that it can run properly. I was told to restart the NVIDIA Telemetry Container Service by the following article but I can't find that exact service on my machine (services.msc shown below). Do i just wait for the August updates to happen so it will run again? Run the .exe manually with run? https://appuals.com/fix-high-cpu-usage-by-net-runtime-optimization-service/

    Regarding your questions:

    1. The folder you mentioned likely contains multiple versions of the .NET Framework. The specific version you should use depends on the application or software you are working with.

*You can determine the correct version by checking the requirements or documentation of the application or consulting with its developer or support team.

    -

    1. The "framework64" folder typically contains 64-bit versions of the .NET Framework. This is significant if you are running a 64-bit operating system (most modern systems are 64-bit).

*If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, it is recommended to use the "framework64" folder when manually running the .NET Runtime Optimization Service.

Yes, you can manually run the .NET Runtime Optimization Service (mscorsvw.exe) to ensure it runs properly. Here are the steps to do so:

    1. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
    1. Type "cmd" and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
    1. In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:

    cd C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.3031

Note: If you have a different version of .NET installed, replace "v4.0.30319" with the appropriate version number.

    1. Now, type the following command and press Enter:

    ngen.exe executeQueuedItems

This command will manually start the .NET Runtime Optimization Service and execute any pending optimizations. After executing these commands, the .NET Runtime Optimization Service should start and run properly.
