    Hello, Serena (PTW

As Tekkie Boy's reply mentioned in the article. SSUs (Service Stack Updates) are updates that provide fixes to the servicing stack, the component that installs Windows updates. LCUs (Latest Cumulative Updates) are updates that contain the latest security and quality improvements for Windows 10.

Starting from February 2021. Microsoft has combined the SSUs and LCUs into one cumulative update package for Windows 10, version 2004 and above. This means that you only need to install one update to get both the SSU and LCU fixes for your device. The following diagram should provide a better understanding of the issue:

Simply state that Microsoft Update Catalog generally does not provide separate KB update logs for Enterprise/Business version, if you need to get the Windows update logs for these hotfix IDs, you can directly ask your IT administrator to request the corresponding Windows Enterprise support, assuming that you are an IT administrator, you can seek the corresponding support in the following community:

SSUs (Service Stack Updates) have been integrated into the LCUs (Latest Cumulative Update) since 2021 and can therefore not be searched for in the update catalog by KB number.

A separate SSU is only offered in special cases.

    Edit:

SSU KB5028318 is integrated in LCU KB5028166:

    Hello, Serena (PTW

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Support. I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble finding some HotFixID in the Microsoft Update Catalog. I searched the release catalog for “KB5028318” and I did not find any results either. Here is the release catalog for Windows 10 22H2:

Windows 10 update history - Microsoft SupportWindows 10, version 22H2 | Microsoft Learn

It seems that this is not a valid HotFixID for any Windows update. Could you please double-check the HotFixID and make sure it is correct? If you are still unable to find it, please provide me with more information about the Windows update log that you are trying to collect, such as the operating system version, the update history, and the source of the log. This will help me to assist you better.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

    Best regards,

    Chandy |Microsoft Community Support Specialist
