I use lightshot as it's the most convenient tool for taking screen snippets I've ever experienced, but after my new laptop updated last week, lightshot is no longer running from the background. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but did not work.

None of the old fixes (i.e. the links provided) are working. The Lightshot service is running, but it doesn't show up in the system tray. I can take screen shots on the computer, but not using Lightshot. There must be something else that's happening.
Hey, what worked for me was going into the system tray
Right-click the light shot icon --> options.
Unchecking the "general hotkey" box under hotkey
Hitting ok, and then rechecking the general hotkey box and hitting ok.
Then it suddenly works with the print screen hotkey again. I also have the keyboard snip tool option disabled in the accessibility settings
Experiencing a similar problem, but I've noticed 1. I have the tray icon and can right-click it to take a screenshot and 2. Lightshot works if I reassign the hotkey to something else (like Insert).
It's as if the Prt Sc key specifically was overridden to only respond to the built-in Windows Snipping Tool.
Hi, i currently have the same issue here...
I'm rying to use Lightshot with the prtnscr hotkey, but does not works.
I already set the option in Accessibility -> Keyboard -> "Use the print screen key to open snipping tool" to off, but its still not working.
If i change the hotkey in lightshot options to another one like "Insert", the program works proppertly, but with the key prtnscr doesnt work.
Please, i want to use the printscreen key in lightshot!!
Has there been a solution for this?
Since migrating laptops I can not longer use lightshot. Have the same issue whereby the service is running but the system tray icon doesn't appear.
