Windows tries to uninstall program but cant find it.

im trying to uninstall a game i dont play, However windows cant find it. When i go to add/remove programs it appears in the drop down list, but when i try downloading it, it says windows cant find 'file directory' make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

    Installing the program and uninstalling again is too much work, you can use a third-party uninstaller to clear the program entry.

    Revo uninstaller is a good tool for this task, download the free version in the link below:

    I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

    This can happen because the app files were already removed but not "uninstalled" which removes the registry entries. Or there is a problem with the registry entry and the uninstaller is not pointing to the files.

    Check if you can access the game files and run the uninstaller from there or you can manually delete the files. If you have the shortcut to open the game, right-click it and select "Open file location". this will point you directly to the game folder.

    Ah, I think I removed the files before trying to uninstall it. It's been awhile since then so I wasn't sure. Is there any way to fix that then?

    Or would I have to reinstall it, then uninstall it with windows?
