Hello. Me and my friend want to play Valorant but he can't use it because his secure boot isn't enabled. So I took him to BIOS and we couldn't find Secure Boot anywhere unless we searched it up. We searched for Secure Boot in BIOS and tried to enabled it but it says: "Secure boot can be enabled when system is in user mode. Repeat after re-enrolling platform KeyPK" So I have tried to solve this problem so many ways and with so many different articles/websites. I can't find anything that says Change Platform Key or anything. Please help. I want to enable secure boot.

Whenever we try to enable Secure Boot after searching it, it gives us this error, "Secure boot can be enabled when system is in user mode. Repeat after re-enrolling platform KeyPK", and doesn't let us enable it.

Hi, Tristan. I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem, and I hope I can assist you to find a satisfactory solution.

To enable Secure Boot and re-enroll the platform KeyPK, you may need to follow these general steps. Please note that the exact steps and options in your BIOS may vary depending on the motherboard and firmware version.

Restart the computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings. This is usually done by pressing a specific key during the boot process, such as F2, Del, or Esc. Check your computer's manual or the manufacturer's website for the correct key.

Once in the BIOS/UEFI settings, navigate to the "Security" or "Boot" section. Look for an option related to Secure Boot.

If you can't find the Secure Boot option directly, look for options related to boot mode, boot security, or boot configuration. These options may contain the Secure Boot settings.

Enable Secure Boot if it's not already enabled. Save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI settings.

After restarting, you may receive a message about enrolling or resetting the platform KeyPK. This is where the system generates new cryptographic keys for Secure Boot. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the enrollment process.

Once the platform KeyPK is re-enrolled, Secure Boot should be active. Verify this by entering the BIOS/UEFI settings again and confirming that Secure Boot is enabled.

If you can't find the Secure Boot option or the process differs in your specific BIOS/UEFI settings, it's recommended to consult the computer manufacturer's support website or contact their support directly for assistance. They can provide you with more specific guidance based on your computer model and firmware version.

The Secure Boot section is hidden from view in the bios menu. But it shows up when we search for it.
