    Hi rickywally,

Sabya here, Independent Windows Adviser. Hope you are doing well.

In your laptop just few of the usb ports are not working or all of them?

If some are working is it usb 2.0 working and the 3.0 is not?

There can be two reasons for the issue -

usb driver issue or usb ports hardware damage.

    To reinstall the drivers

Right click on the start menu and choose device manager

Click on view menu, show hidden devices

In the device manager expand universal serial bus controller

you will see sub headings with usb 3.0 written, right click and uninstall

Do a restart and they will install back automatically.
