I'm wanting to update to windows 11 from 10 but pc check says CPU does not meet min requirements, can I update this or is this a new computer fix?

Windows 11 only runs on computers that have 8th-generation processors or above. If your computer does not meet W11 system requirements, Installing Windows 11 is not recommended. If you choose to install Windows 11 on ineligible hardware, you should be comfortable assuming the risk of running into compatibility issues.

Since Microsoft will not add any processors to the supported list at least not now, however, you can submit feedback may Microsoft work on it in the future:
Press Windows Key + F to open the feedback hub and submit your feedback.
If you want to upgrade your CPU, it is best to contact the manufacturer's support services to know whether it can be upgraded or not.
