IDM Integration Module is no longer capturing any downloads from my browser

So, i have had IDM installed on my system for some time and it used to work fine. i have had the idm integration module browser extension installed and enabled in the browser and it was working fine but now it doesn't.

so, the problem is just with catching downloads which is i guess a problem with the extension othervise, everything else like, popups to download media:-


are still working and starts to download with idm as ussual

So, The problem is coming from my primary browser, 'BRAVE'. but i have tried it on multiple browsers like edge and chrome on my computer i have reinstalled the browser on my computer, but it didn't work

however, it is working on the other computer.

so, i you can help me, please do

    For Brave, I couldn't find the link, but you can try this

    First, remove the IDM extension from Brave.

    Find a file with this name: IDMGCExt.crx in folder brave installed.

    My device is C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager.

    open extensions and enable developer mode and then drag and drop that file to Brave.

    Make sure the extension is enabled.

    Note after downloading the extension for each browser reopen it so it can be activated

    actually, before your reply, i tried to uninstall idm with Full settings meaning everything would be unistalled. and then installed it and it worked
