Windows 10 bluetooth on/off switch missing

Ever since I restarted my computer a few days ago, my Windows 10 device hasn't had an on/off switch to enable Bluetooth. I have seen a similar question on the community forum, which was made in 2015, and no answers on that helped. I have updated my drivers, I have switched drivers, I have tried the notification bar buttons, and I have restarted my computer too many times to count. Whatever I try, I can't turn on Bluetooth.

Hi Sean, thank you for that information.

The driver is installed correctly, the troubleshooter indicated the radio is disabled, since there is no physical button on the keyboard or on one of the sides of the laptop to disable Bluetooth, really the only thing left is there is a hardware issue with the Bluetooth card, it may be best to get that tested.

That 'Check Radio Status' error usually indicated it is turned off, on the function keys on your keyboard, does any of them have a Bluetooth icon, and if so, try pressing that key or Fn + that key.

Otherwise, click your Start button, then jsut type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

    Dave,

I have no Bluetooth function key. Along with F1 through F12, I have also tried Fn + Esc and Fn + PrtScr, but nothing Bluetooth related.

In the response you replied to, I had already sent the screenshot. It was under the number 3. I will send it again in case it did not go through.

    Thank you for that information.

Start your laptop and repeatedly press F2 to boot into BIOS

Go to Advanced - Devices - Onboard Devices.

    Is Bluetooth disabled in there?

    1. After completing the troubleshoot, the only problem found was "Check Bluetooth Radio Status (Not Fixed)"
