Filter favourite photos

Hello

Is there a was howto filter favourite photos in the album (both: web and desktop application)?

No, I don't want to see all my favoutie photos in the folder "Favourite". I have thousands of photos. I have a folder with 1000 photos from a vacation and I want to filter only the top starred photos. And I don't want to search it in thousands photos in Favourite folder.

    Thank you for your help. I'm afraid I didn't express myself clearly. l'll give you an example. I create albums:

    • Holidays
    • Home
    • Family

    Each album has 1000 pictures. In each album, I mark top 100 pictures with the star. When I open "Favourite" album, I can see 300 pictures (all favourite pictures). Is there any way how to see favourite picture only from the album "Holiday"?

    I understand that your issue is related to photos.

    From your description, it seems that you are currently using the Photos app. In the Photos app, you tap the "❤" pattern on a picture to favourite it. Only favourite photos are displayed in favourites.

    So you mentioned that you would like to filter the top starred images in your favourites, what exactly does this mean? Would it be convenient for you to take a screenshot and share it with me?

    Are there any other images located in your favourites besides the ones tagged with ❤?

    Thank you for clarifying the issue.

    I can understand your need to be able to filter tagged images by album in your "favourites".

    According to my research on this issue, this feature does not currently exist in albums. The only filtering criteria in "Favourites" and other album folders are videos and pictures. Therefore, it is not possible to sort and display the tagged images in "favourites" or to display only the tagged images in other album folders.

    I have sent this design request through internal channels for feedback. We also recommend you to contact Microsoft for feedback.

    Microsoft attaches great importance to user experience, you can submit your ideas and suggestions through the Feedback Hub, and the development team will regularly review submissions for ideas or fixes.
