Hi. I have an issue with my laptop's adaptive brightness feature. When I use my laptop and open a notepad in light mode, the brightness becomes too high. However, when I open a software with dark mode, the brightness turns too dark as well. I've seen the same question, but I doesn't help me, click me. My laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen processor, which means the Intel display options or something similar are not available. Could you assist me in disabling this adaptive brightness feature?

    Hi Tokioshy,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Most PC's do not have an adaptive brightness sensor, it is nearly always a setting in the video card control panel that causes this.

Open the AMD graphics control panel, look for a setting named Vari-Bright and disable that, then check if that stops the automatic brightness levels.
