It depends. It's only "Safe to remove" if you're sure your company doesn't use any programs or scripts that depend on that DLL.
MSXML.dll
I work for a company that wants me to see about removing msxml.dll as it is no longer supported. I can't find any real solid information on this particular .dll When I pull up the details is says "XML OM for Win32" and the file version is 8.00.7002.0 which I cannot find anywhere. I just to know what this file is and if it safe to remove.

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.
The process known as XML OM for Win32 belongs to software Microsoft Data Access Components or Microsoft:registered: Windows (Version 2000 Operating System) by Microsoft (www.microsoft.com).
Description: Msxml.dll is not essential for the Windows operating system and causes relatively few problems.
Hope this helps.
