Brave Browser Cause Windows 10/11 Shut down constantly / Black Screen

My Surface Book 2 kept shutting down constantly. I was ready to throw the SB2 away. I had reinstalled Windows 10 several times in last 4 months. Finally I found out that Brave Browser was the culprit. And, I was right. After uninstalled Brave, Book 2 is now resume normal without shutting down every seconds. And, here what I found:

Description of the issue: Brave browser keeps crashing after 10 secs or so
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Keep using the browser
  2. It suddenly crashes after a few secs without any error message
  3. Open it up again and restore the previous tabs
  4. Crashes again within seconds

    Hi Jakub,

    At first, I read that Brave is the best to block ads and privacy. After I reviewed the SERVICES, OMG! It is worst than Chrome. Therefore, I uninstalled the Brave browser. It crashes my Surface constantly. Worst! It ruined my Surface Book 2. I read other people have problems with SB2 shutting down every second. My SB2 was excellent until I started using Brave. In short, after removed Brave. I reinstalled SB several times. It was grilled. I removed all Brave from other Surface Pro 7 and HP Spectre X2 (Surface Pro Clone). And, shipped my Surface Book 2 to junk yard today. I also bought MacBook Pro. No more Windows for this 60 years old Techie. 30 years of Windows, it is time for me to stay away from Microsoft which turns into Micro Suck.

    I have the same issue on Lenovo thinkpad x13 gen 1.

    I even reinstalled Windows and everything was fine until I installed Brave and after less then hour my laptop just shut down.
