Hi, I have a LENOVO Ideapad 3 with windows 11. Recently, the sound from my laptop stopped playing. I have the updated audio driver (Realtek, download from the lenovo web site), and yet, it does not appear in "Administrative Tools". Interestingly, the audio can be heard through a speaker connected via Bluetooth.

Can anyone help me please?

My name is Kenneth. I m an Independent Advisor and fellow consumer of Microsoft products, I will be more than happy to help you. I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Can you see the realtek Audio in Device Manager to uninstall and reinstall the updated driver from Lenovo?

    Before you begin

Start by running the automated audio troubleshooter in the Get Help app. Get Help automatically runs diagnostics and takes the correct steps to fix most audio issues.

    Open Get Help

If the Get Help app is unable to resolve your sound or audio issue, try the possible solutions listed:

    Windows 11

    1. Check your speaker output
    2. Run the audio troubleshooter
    3. Verify that all Windows Updates are installed
    4. Check your cables, plugs, jacks, volume, speaker, and headphone connections
    5. Check sound settings
    6. Fix your audio drivers
    7. Set your audio device as the default device
    8. Turn off audio enhancements
    9. Restart Audio Services
    10. Try different audio formats
    11. Restart to apply installed updates
    12. Check for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC in Device Manager
    13. If you have microphone issues, make sure your privacy settings are configured properly

I hope this helps, please feel free to reply to this if you need any further Assistance.

    Kindly,

    Kenneth

Dear Kenneth, answering your first question:

Can you see the realtek Audio in Device Manager to uninstall and reinstall the updated driver from Lenovo? NO, I DON'T SEE IT (only my bluetooth speaker and my bluetooth headphones).

I follow your links above, and I re-install the realtek audio driver (latest version), and the problem persist.

My speakers don't appear in "Sounds"

I Run the audio troubleshooter: No connected devices.

    I attached photos.

    Kind regards,

    Francisco

Sorry this method is not working for you. I looked at the pictures and it looks like the devices are disabled. Can you right click on any of the playback devices and enable any of them? I attached picture.

Also the Realtek Audio would be in Audio Inputs and Outputs. If you find it there please right click (realtek audio)-properties-driver-update driver and update drivers -The link below has driver for Lenovo Ideapad 3 please choose the correct driver this one is Windows 11 64 bit.
