Wireless Wifi Driver MISSING - Windows 10

Hello everyone,

I know it's a common issue on both Windows 10 & Windows 11, but so far I have checked many threads for a solution without avail.

My laptop is an HP Envy 13-D110NF, I am running on an Intel Core I5 and my Wi-Fi driver is Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN or Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN (not really sure on this one).

Here are the screenshots on Imgur : https://imgur.com/a/0eWkeQ4

My WiFi driver is completely gone (1), the Troubleshooter is telling that I have no driver for my Network Adapter (3). I tried to reinstall the official pilot on HP Support and restarted my PC, but it did not work. The network adapter just doesn't show up on the device manager (5).

I also used the "Startup Repairs" from my BIOS menu to reinstall my wifi network adapter, but it had no effect.

I reset my laptop from scratch hoping it will solve the issue, but it didn't work either.

I also did an "in-place upgrade". Hoping this will download Windows 10 installer files and use those to update and repair your system and install a WIFI driver.

I have been losing my mind over this for a few weeks now. At least the ethernet is working just fine. I think I am gonna need a new laptop at this point. I just don't understand why the driver vanished overnight. So any help is most deeply apreciated.

Have a good day !

Hello! My name is Mostafa; I will assist you today.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue.

Please update BIOS by visiting your laptop support page website.

    Perform a Cold reboot

    https://www.intel.in/content/www/in/en/support/...

    1 .Right-click Start > Device Manager.

    1. Open the View menu and click Show hidden devices.
    2. Expand the Network adapters list and check if the adapter is now visible.
    3. If the adapter is still missing, click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
    4. If that does not help, Click on the Networks adapters category.
    5. Click on Action top of the pane, then choose Scan for Hardware changes.

    Clean Up Network Devices

    1. Press Win + R to open the Run window.
    2. Into the Run window, type cmd and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run Command Prompt as administrator.
    3. In Command Prompt, type netcfg -d.
    4. Restart your device and check if you can discover the network adapter.

Try to update all your Intel drivers by using the Intel:registered: Driver & Support Assistant.

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support...

It might be a hardware issue if none of the above steps helped.
