Hello folks.

I'm trying to update my Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V driver as the driver date says 30/01/2022. I installed the intel updating program and run it without getting any error messages but it doesn't say it got updated on device manager?

I'd like to include many pictures but it seems to fail to load after the first one? Sorry, this is my first post.

Thanks for the help

It was nothing, it's a pleasure to be able to try to help you.

I checked with your motherboard manufacturer's website, and the driver version installed on your computer is already the latest compatible.

I recommend keeping it, as the one on the manufacturer's website is a version older than the current one installed.

Are you facing any problem with network adapter?

If not, you can just keep it and continue using it without any problems.

Thanks! I have a problem with my network that I can't resolve, so I just tried to update my adapter driver. Good that it was the latest compatible.

I have some sort of dns/ip issue and nothing works. My provider won't help me because I usually get good results on speed-test, but sometimes it takes even 10 seconds before the test even starts.

My problem is that my internet get lag spikes every now and then. So I often have to wait for almost 10 second for a new tab or page to load. But in-between that my internet is as fast as it should be. I pay for 100/100 mbit/s and often get over 90/90 in speedtest, but it doesn't reflect my user experience.

I use internet from a network cable through the wall. I live in a newely built apartment and my internet has been like this since i moved in. Same on all devices and I've also replaced the network cable to my pc.

Right not I use quad9 dns, but changing dns only does so much. I still get these spikes.

Any idea what could help? Ive flushed dns cache. Any help would be greatly appreciative!

    Thank you for your help
