Hello,Eric Peterson_ETP
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your external displays at home. There are a few possible reasons why your Windows 10 PC is not recognizing both of your monitors. Based on what you described as "Home (2 Extended Displays Not Recognizing both good monitors)". Could it be that the two monitors have been successfully recognized, but are not functioning properly according to the configuration? Assuming that you currently have a total of five monitors, but only two will not configure correctly, please share with me more details if convenient :)
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
**1->**Detect your displays manually. If Windows does not detect your displays automatically, you can try to detect them manually. To do that, go to Settings > System > Display, and scroll down to Multiple displays. Click on Detect, and see if your displays show up. You can also try pressing Windows logo key + P to switch between different display modes.
**2->**Check the cables and connections. Make sure your cables are properly connected to your PC or dock, and that they are not damaged or loose. You may also try using different ports or cables if possible.
**3->**Reset the display settings. If none of the above steps work, you may need to reset the display settings to default. To do that,
Press Windows + R to open run window > Type regeditand press Enter> Locate this three registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Connectivity
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\ScaleFactors
After finding them right click on each folder and select delete. Restart your pc and reconnect your monitor again.
Basically what this did was to force windows forget the monitors (and their settings) that you used with this PC. After this when you connect your PC to a monitor, windows should "rediscover" it as if it was the first time and all the settings will be at their default values again.
Hope it helps! If any update, welcome to share with us.
