Windows Security Controlled Folder Access question

I have recently turned on the Controlled Folder Access feature in Windows Security. But I have noticed that shortly after I turned it on, a Windows Security notification tells me that it protected a folder from an unwanted program. I ignored it but it recently got worse and now these .exe apps are trying to access it almost 10+ times a minute sometimes and it's starting to worry me! The .exe files are called "AGSServices.exe", "AdobeGCClient.exe" and "AGCInvokerUtility.exe". I don't know if any of these are viruses/malware because they all seem to be related to Adobe. I do have an Adobe Creative Cloud but nothing else Adobe related as I know. Please tell me if any of these files/apps are virus/malware and why Windows Security blocks it, thanks!

    Hello, Dia K

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

The file you mentioned is not a virus/malware. After some searching, they are related to Adobe software. "AGSServices.exe" is a part of Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Services. "AdobeGCClient.exe" is a part of Adobe Creative Cloud and "AGCInvokerUtility.exe" is a part of Adobe GC Invoker Utility.

Windows Security blocks these files because it's designed to protect your files from unwanted changes by unauthorized apps. It does this by monitoring changes made to files and folders. If an app tries to make changes that are not allowed, Windows Security will block it.

If you are concerned about these files/apps accessing your folders, you can add them to the list of allowed apps in Controlled folder access. Here's how you can do it:
