A few days ago my screen started glitching. And then I tried to update it and restart it. But then it shut off. I then decided to charge it and then leave it for a while. After that I I off the charger and haven't used it until now. I opened my laptop to see a blue screen, when I turned it on it only showed my cursor.

I can't see my apps whatsoever, it's only a blue screen with my cursor. I don't know how to fix this problem I'm having. I don't want to buy a new laptop because I only got this laptop around 1 or 2 years ago..

I watched some YouTube tutorials and tried pressing the keys and such but my laptop is still the same. It still has the blue screen on. Please help

    Hi SophiaCA -

I'm glad your computer is now fine. About your question, yes, there's a big possibility that your computer may crash or even worse, corrupt your system if Windows update got interrupted during the process. I would suggest that you make sure your laptop is plugged in if there's an update to prevent further issues in your system :)

If you need any further assistance, I'll be here.

    Regards,

    Jerico T.

I left it for awhile and to charge it since I suspect that it was low battery. But now my acer laptop is fine after I shut it off and turn it on. Thank you for the help.

I have a question. Is it possible that the windows 11 acer laptop crashes in the middle of an update when it is low batt? I think that was a mistake I've done.
