    Hi Sergio,

I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

The process of managing background apps has been slightly changed. Instead of directly disabling background apps, you can control over their connectivity, performance, and battery usage. You can configure it using settings through the system settings or using group policy. For detailed instructions, please refer to this guide: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/disable-startu...

Keep in mind that some Win32 desktop apps allow you to control whether they run in the background. The availability of this option may vary from app to app.

To optimize your system's startup and overall performance, consider managing which apps open on startup. You can also disable startup apps to improve boot times. Follow these steps:

    > Open Task Manager.

    > Navigate to the Startup tab.

    > Right-click on the enabled application and select "Disable."

I hope these steps help you regain control over background apps and improve your gaming experience on Windows 11. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,

    John J.D.
