    Hello, KireaSS

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm not entirely sure if you're referring to the Linx 1020, Linx 10v32, or Linx 10v64 tablet when you mention the Linx tablet 10. Nevertheless, regardless of the specific model, it appears to be a relatively older one. Upgrading to the latest version of Windows might lead to compatibility problems, which could result in difficulties booting up normally.

Given your current inability to access the system, the optimal approach is to download the recovery image from the official Linx website onto a USB drive from this page, and subsequently reinstall the system using that USB drive: How to install Windows from a Flash Drive | Microsoft Learn. It's advisable to avoid both updating Windows and retaining any files during this reinstallation process.

I could only locate recovery images for the Linx 1020: Linx 1020 (linxtablets.com). Unfortunately, the Linx official website doesn't offer recovery images for the 10v32 and 10v64 versions. As a result, I'm uncertain whether the Linx version 1020 recovery image is suitable for the 10v32 and 10v64 models. It might be worth reaching out to Linx directly to inquire about this. Once the system has been restored, it's recommended not to update Windows. This recommendation stems from the same reason that, given the age of your device, updating Windows could lead to compatibility challenges. You can use a tool called Show or hide updates troubleshooter that allows you to hide unwanted or problematic updates from Windows Update. If you are prompted that this file is not safe while downloading the tool, keep it to continue downloading.

If updating Windows is essential, I recommend confirming with Linx whether your device is suitable for upgrading to the latest Windows version.

Let me know if you have any other concerns.

    Best regards

    Yuhao Li
