I need to install the NFS role, it is not yet installed on my Windows 2008 R2 file server.
I need to mount an NFS share on Kubernetes servers (Linux).
After installing the NFS role is it necessary to restart the server? I'm also afraid that when installing NFS, there will be a problem with existing shares.

Yes, I'd expect a reboot will likely be required. NFS and SMB together should be workable.

@Anonymous Thanks for the answer! I read the article, but it doesn't clearly say if I need to restart the server after installing role.
And it doesn't say anything if it can affect my existing shares before NFS.
