My computer still recognizes the mouse as I get the sound every time I enter the USB, but whenever I move, click, or interact with the mouse, nothing happens. I accidentally also uninstalled my mouse drivers (After already trying to update, disable, reenable drivers too) in an attempt to fix it, and even after restarting my laptop multiple times the drivers did not reinstall.
How do I fix this?
-- Update, I now see my mouse drivers in device manager, but it still doesn't work

I brought mouse 1 to laptop 2 which already had a mouse (mouse 2, USB2), made sure to test mouse 2 worked, it did not, but I found out that my mouse had somehow connected to laptop 2 and USB 2, and that mouse 2 was connected to USB 1, so I swapped the USBs and it worked fine.
I have no idea how this happened, I never swapped the USB or the mice before and I have been using the same mouse and USB for the past two years, but it seems now the problem is fixed, so thanks.
