How to stop windows from showing Im playing music.

I'll try my best to explain this. So, every time I play music, I don't want my computer to show I'm playing music. For example, when I click on the Wi-Fi and sound button in the bottom right corner of my screen, on top of all the buttons that lead to project, cast, Wi-Fi, sound, there it shows the music I'm playing and the app I'm using. Also, if I press the pause key on my keyboard in the top left corner it shows my music and then disappears after a few seconds, I was wondering if there was a way to stop these things from showing.

    Hi Simeon, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

    There is no global setting to remove the media control overlay. It can only be disabled for each individual app.

    For Spotify, you may go to click the three dots on the top left part of the app > Edit > Preferences > Display and turn off "Show desktop overlay when using media keys"
