Hello Rod Seel,
Thank you for using Microsoft products and posting to the community.
We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused and that the current situation can be frustrating. But according to your description, neither of your computers can access Netgear ReadyNAS , which is most likely a problem with the Netgear ReadyNAS setup itself. And during my search, I noticed that the Netgear forum consists of many user feedback about similar issues, such as the following two threads. Perhaps contacting Netgearsupport directly would be a better option.
Solved: Cannot access ReadyNAS Duo from Windows 11 - NETGEAR Communities
Solved: WINDOWS CANNOT ACCESS \READYNAS - NETGEAR Communities

In addition, the issues on NAS are beyond the support scope of Answers Community. It is more suitable for publishing on Microsoft Learn (English only), which amis to support more advanced users (like you).
Here is a link to the forum where you can raise specific scenarios and share your idea to help solve the problem. You can click on "Ask a question", there are experts who can provide more professional solutions in that place.
