Troubleshooter is no help. RAIDar which is the software programme can see the NAS, and knows its details but cannot access its files.

    Hi!

I have had the same problem, so I'll try to answer.

In order to see the files on the ReadyNAS, you need to enable SMB 1.0, also known as CIFS.

    Follow
the instructions, and you'll see the shares in the explorer.

Also, you may have trouble connecting to the web admin GUI. This is because TLS 1.0 is disabled in modern browsers. My workaround is to run version 9.0.0.6 of Netscape Navigator from 2008. It won't work with modern web browsing at all - just a lot of error messages - but it WILL connect to the ReadyNAS.

    Hello Rod Seel,

Thank you for using Microsoft products and posting to the community.

We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused and that the current situation can be frustrating.  But according to your description, neither of your computers can access Netgear ReadyNAS , which is most likely a problem with the Netgear ReadyNAS setup itself. And during my search, I noticed that the Netgear forum consists of many user feedback about similar issues, such as the following two threads. Perhaps contacting Netgearsupport directly would be a better option.
