Heyy! I have a question is curseforge website safe to download mobs in your computer. So is it safe download mods for Minecraft in curseforge.

    Yes it is, if you want an easier way to download or make modpacks using the curseforge app is te best way

    Hi Juila, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

    As per post from CurseForge, they have already fully addressed the security incident, so it is now safe. They have cleaned the infected files and preventive measures are in place.

    They have also provided a tool to scan if you're infected.

    There are also alternative sites like*<Removed by Moderator>* to download mods. Just to be safe, never trust a .exe file when downloading mods as they should be packaged as .jar files.

    Another layer of security is to scan the links and files first in VirusTotal
