Windows not detecting IGPU and descrete GPU in Graphics Preference

My PC has both the RX 7900xt and Ryzen 7000 integrated graphics. Both have updated drivers and work properly. Only problem is Windows only "detects" the GPU powering the monitor which has been designated the main one. How do I get both to show up? It used to work properly when I had an Intel + Nvidia system. And The reason why I'm having this issue is my motherboard doesn't have a display port so I am forced to use the GPU to power the 4k 60hz monitor via display port, and I am using the integrated graphics to power my 1080p 165hz monitor via HDMI to reduce idle power usage on the RX 7900xt. So at the moment, the GPU powering the monitor designated as the main monitor will show up in the graphics preference. I would like to see the integrated graphics under the power saving option and the RX 7900xt under the high performance setting. I suspect that there is a registry setting I can change to solve this problem.

    1. Both GPUs are enabled and are working properly. At the moment my 4K monitor works (connected to 7900xt) and my 1080p 165hz monitor works (connected to IGPU). Both have drivers updated to the latest and both GPUs also appear in the device manager. The problem is when I set the 165hz monitor to the main display, because it is connected to the IGPU, every application uses the IGPU; even games. And I am unable to switch it to use the 7900xt because in the graphics setting, windows only shows the IGPU for both the high performance and power saving options. However, if I were to switch the main display to the 4k monitor, because the 4k monitor is connected to the 7900xt, in the graphics setting windows shows the 7900xt for both the high performance and power saving options.

    Hello thanachaiaston,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? You can check it by pressing the Win key + R key, and typing "winver", then press Enter, please take a screenshot/photo of it, and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.

Did this occur recently, or has it been going on for a while? If it was recent, did you have any special actions (such as installing system updates*,* hardware changes*, etc.*) before that?

There are a few possible causes and solutions for this problem, depending on your system configuration and settings.

Here are some suggestions that you can try:

    1. Check your BIOS settings and make sure that both GPUs are enabled and not disabled by default. Some motherboards may have an option to choose which GPU to use as the primary display output, or to enable hybrid or switchable graphics mode. You can access the BIOS by pressing a certain key (usually F2, F10, or Del) during the boot process, before Windows starts. Refer to your motherboard manual for more details on how to change the BIOS settings.
    2. Update your chipset drivers and graphics drivers from the official websites of your motherboard and GPU manufacturers. Sometimes, outdated or incompatible drivers can cause issues with detecting or switching between GPUs. You can use the following links to find the latest drivers for your devices:
