I have purchased a new computer, with windows 11, and have attempted to sign in to my microsoft account. I have correctly entered my microsoft account username and password. Then, another screen appears, which i have never seen before. It asks me to enter my 'windows password one last time.' Of course, i enter my microsoft account passwords, which should be the same, and it says that this is incorrect. There are no options for forgotten passwords or anything that i can interact with. I need to resolve this issue quickly so that i can get into my microsoft account. I have already tried resetting my microsoft account passwords, and this has been ineffective. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, Elliott,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

If you are stuck on the out-of-box experience process, you can use this procedure to set up Windows using a local account, and then configure your Microsoft account.

    • In the "Let's connect you to a network" page

1-Press Shift+F10 to open the Command Prompt

2-Type this command and press Enter:

    oobe\bypassnro

3-Your computer will reboot automatically, and you may need to start the out-of-box experience again

4-In the "Let's connect you to a network" page, click on "I don't have internet" at the bottom of the page

5-Then click on "Continue with limited setup"

6-Then follow the instructions to create a local account and finish the Out-of-box experience

When finished, connect your computer to the internet and configure your Microsoft account.

    1-Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Your info.

2-Select "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead".

3-Follow the prompts to switch to your Microsoft account.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.
