RoadRunner is an Internet Service Provider which was rebranded as Spectrum. If you have a RoadRunner email (which would end in @rr.com), it is now managed by Spectrum. Here's how to set up your RoadRunner/Spectrum email:
On the Web:
- Go to https://www.spectrum.net/login/.
- Log in with your Spectrum username and password.
- Click on the envelope icon at the top of the page to access your email. Disclaimer: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate and safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.
On an Email Client (like Outlook etc.)
You'll need these mail server settings:
- Incoming Server - IMAP: mail.twc.com
- Incoming Server - IMAP port: 993
- Outgoing Server – SMTP: mail.twc.com
- Outgoing Server – SMTP port: 587
- Inbound & Outbound User Name: Enter full email address.
- Inbound & Outbound Password: Email Password (same as Webmail password)
- SSL: On
Here's a general guide on how to use these settings in an email client:
- Open your email client and go to the settings menu.
- Look for a section called "Accounts" or "Email Accounts".
- Choose to add a new account, select 'IMAP' as the account type if given an option.
- Enter your full Roadrunner/Spectrum email address and password where prompted.
- For incoming and outgoing servers, use the information provided above.
- Make sure SSL is enabled for both incoming and outgoing servers.
Please note that exact steps may vary depending on which email client you are using.
On Mobile Devices (iOS/Android)
The process is similar as setting up on an Email Client but through mobile device's Mail settings instead.
