this may be a bit of a silly question but I keep getting the above randomly pop up on my screen but unsure if I’m ok to install it - is it an official update? I thought normally my Mac updates itself. Thanks in advance

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Rest assured, that is a genuine Microsoft package, it installs a small utility that can be used to update your Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel..etc.) if you have any problems keeping your Office applications up to date.
