How do I find missing photos from a photo transfer?

I use an IPhone to take about 200 photos every couple of days. I have the option for ICloud turned off so the photos are not there. I usually take the photos from the phone and directly put them on to my computer using a cord. And once I do that the photos are usually not on the phone anymore because I cut and paste them to the computer. I've done this hundreds of times without issue till now. I don't know what exactly happened but I think for whatever reason during the transfer from phone to computer, the photos went missing somehow. I know there not deleted...I hope...I've never deleted these photos but I can't find them. This is a job I do so it's only kind of important I find these photos. I've looked in the phones deleted file and hidden file. I've also search the date these photos were taken and they don't exist on the phone anymore. On the computer I've looked at my recycling bin, in the photos file, the file that was originally made to hold the photos, and in any other files on the desktop just in case. Is there any place I could possible look more into or a trick to find these photos? Do I need to also contact apple support?

    Hello Myrtle Beach Safari,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am sorry to learn that you have lost your photos and would like to try to recover them.

But if the issue involves data recovery, because the data was lost during the transfer process, this is unfortunately beyond the support of the response community, and even if you contact Apple Support, they may not be able to do anything.

Please do not perform any operations on your phone and computer for the time being, I recommend you to contact professional data recovery company directly to see if they can recover your data under such strict conditions, after all, they are the most professional in data recovery.

If they can't do anything, we or Apple support staff can't do anything.

    Best regards,
